December 14, 2022 News Update:
Dear Families,
As we head into our winter break the Board of Directors would like to reflect on the success of this school year. Your students have been reaching milestones in academic, emotional, and social growth and fulfilling the vision of Children’s Kiva Montessori School. We would like to recognize the hard work of the staff during last year and this year that contributed to the encouraging CMAS results. We appreciate the staff’s efforts on the curriculum, striving to meet the school’s goals, and honoring the Montessori philosophy. It feels great to be in a position to celebrate! Thank you!
We hope you were able to attend the gallery night and/or the gratitude meal. Both of these events displayed the joy of learning in Kiva’s classrooms. We’re looking forward to more opportunities to interact with the students and staff in the next half of the school year; and your participation is vital to keeping Kiva a vibrant place of learning.
As a small school we rely on our families and our community to provide support and collaboration. We welcome new ideas and diverse experiences. Also, 12/15/22: The Board of Directors will attend a staff member celebration at 4 Main St. Cortez at 4:00 to 5:30. No business will be discussed and no will be action taken.
December 13, 2022 News Update:
The Children’s Kiva Montessori Charter School will have a two hour delayed start this morning due to expected dangerous, icy road conditions. School will start at 10:00 AM with supervision beginning at 9:45. We care about you, so please be safe and stay warm!
